Holidays in colombia
Holidays Colombia has twenty holidays including the New Year, although it is not close to being the country with the most holidays, some of these are very well known, such as the carnival, which at first was a cultural festival until it became something commercial and tourist. After this, there is Holy Week, which as such is not a single day but a whole week, another that is also known are Independence Day, All Saints' Day (and Children's Day) which is essentially the halloween On the day of independence, the independence of the country from the Spanish is celebrated, so many schools make theatrical representations of how said independence was, in turn there are a couple of days about independence that are celebrated as is the battle of boyaca. Now, although I said that Colombia has 20 holidays, in fact it has more if we include some that are celebrated worldwide, such as Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, International Workers' Day, Women's Day, etc.
